Eboshi Happoshu is a light, filtered lager with a soft, sweet nose and a clean, quick finish. Made to be poured cold and shared.

Both are light, filtered and pasteurised lagers in a 0.5 L can. Pick the lighter Happoshu or the fuller, maltier Original.

A bright, sweet-and-tangy nose with a hint of fruit, a soft body and a quick, clean finish.

Rich barley malt on the nose, a rounder, gently sweet body and a light hop bitterness on the finish.
The eboshi is the tall black cap of old Japan, worn by court nobles and by samurai beneath their helmets. Our can carries the warrior; the name carries the hat.
Happoshu — 発泡酒, “sparkling spirit” — is a Japanese style of beer brewed with less malt than a classic lager. The result is lighter and crisper, which is why the can reads 低麦芽味: low-malt taste.
Eboshi Original is brewed in Germany and Eboshi Happoshu in the Netherlands, with Japanese styling from the label to the glass.
Serve at 4–6 °C. A light lager is at its crispest straight from a cold fridge.
Tilt, then straighten for two fingers of foam. It opens up the aroma.
Gyoza, karaage, yakitori, edamame with sea salt — or just good company.
Available at WineLab stores from 150 ₽ per 0.5 L can.
